Danny Gans

I have seen a lot of recommendations for Danny Gans show in Las Vegas on this site, hearing what a great entertainer he is. What kind of a show does he put on and which hotel is he at?

First, let me say I have not seen Danny Gans perform myself. Nor do I know exactly where in Vegas he performs.

However, my roommate did see his show when she was there this summer and thought his show was the best part of her trip. Apparently, he does some outrageous impressions and does other great comedy routines. He's also known for performing clean comedy, which is pretty rare these days.

Tickets are kinda steep (I think she paid over $50) but she said she doesn't regret a cent because he was so good. If you do go, let us know how it went.

OK-Danny Gans was a professional baseball player and something happened and he had to stop playing...he will tell the whole story when you see him, which you must! Then he does an act that I hate to call impersonations because he actually becomes people! He is called the Man of -so many- voices, don't remember exactly how many--it is very entertaining, there will be lots of laughs, lots of remembering people and songs, and a few tears...he has an excellent back up band, I have seen him twice, once at the Rio and then the Mirage offered him a fabulous theater of his own and lots and lots of money so now he is there...you really should see him, it is well worth the cost, and there are so many cheesy shows in Vegas that are not worth much at all...C

I agree that Danny Gans is fantastic and the $50 show at the Rio was worth every penny. I hear his show at the Mirage is $100 or more - don't know if it's worth that!

I saw the Danny Gans show in October. I enjoyed it. He sang songs in the style of many artists and was "on the mark".

The show lasted about an hour and 15 minutes. Considering what he does with his voice, that is a long time.

We saw him at the Mirage.
