Dallas, Texas: Looking for festive light displays during the holidays

I love to see the pretty light displays on houses and buildings during the holidays.

I'll be in Dallas for a couple days the week after Thanksgiving.

I've done a google search and found the Highland Park Village that seems popular.

Any others you might recommend?

I'll be staying near the Galleria, but will have a car so I can go wherever the lights are!

Thanks!

I'm sure others can answer this better, but when I lived in Dallas, driving down Armstrong and Beverly in Highland Park always had beuatiful lights. Armstrong intersects with Highland Park Village and Beverly is a street off of it.

You should also drive along Turtle Creek.

Agree with Armstrong and Beverly (Armstrong first). There are also horse carriage rides that will take you through Highland Park.

Up in Plano, there's a neighborhood that goes all out for Christmas. All the homes in Deerwood Park decorate their homes. There's even a carriage ride.

Drive North on the Dallas North Tollway (Right at the Galleria). Get off at Legacy Dr...about 5 miles. Go East to Archgate Dr. Christ Church on your right, Deerwood Park on the left.

Enjoy...we do every year.

Thanks for all your suggestions. Sounds like the Dallas-Ft. Worth area really spruces up for the holidays.

I've been checking links today to the places mentioned, and now I have maps copied as well.

I really appreciate your help.
