Dad & 15 year old daughter in NYC
I'm planning to spend a weekend with my daughter in NY and looking for suggestions on activities to do--we come often but spend much of our time in time square, theater district which we love. We've done a # of the landmark attractions (i.e., time square, empire state building)...
Considering Cony Island, Statue of Liberty and trying our hands at one of the escape rooms---would love any other suggestions.
We will either snag a hotel in midtown or commute in from CT...
Thanks much in advance.

If you go to either Coney Island or the Statue of Liberty, it will consume most of the day.
Maybe others know, but I have no idea what an escape from is.
There are many things to do museums, food, shopping, self-guided walking tours, history, Central Park, Highline.

Evidently, escape rooms are a thing. And an expanding entertainment industry.

Have never head of this before but apparently there is a company in Manhattan that does this activity. Seems to be much more popular in europe based on the list above.
They seem to be touting it for corporate team building activities and most seem to involve groups of people from 10 to 12 - not just 2.
