DH and DS will be spending a long weekend in Miami in a few weeks. DH wants good Cuban food. Fancy or casual, expensive or cheap; anything goes! Where would you send them?
Thanks!

Versailles would be a the top of my list. I also liked Puerto Sagua in South Beach, which is more like a diner. See my trip report below:

Get over to the Little Havana area for a fun time. Always love ordering the Cubano Sandwich.

Versailles is in Little Havana, on Calle Ocho.
Many thanks.
We also liked Versailles.
Anyone else?
La Carreta, also on Calle Ocho, a favorite of my (Cuban-American) sister-in-law.

If they are staying up near Doral, La Esquina del Lechon is a little unassuming place in a strip mall behind a gas station that we loved. It was recommended to us by a shuttle driver at the golf course.
We did not enjoy Havana Harry's in Coral Gables.
