Cruising Intracoastal Waterway (East Coast)

Can anyone recommend or advise against any particular cruise of the Intracoastal Waterway on the U.S. East Coast? I'd like to cruise the entire length if possible.

A great stop is Marineland outside of St. Augustine...good location, quiet, beautiful surroundings, good walking and biking trails....but, not in the summer!
