I'd look at Royal Caribbean cruises. It's got lots of activities for kids the age of your grandson. Depending on the ship you choose, you and your grandson could participate in rock climbing, mini golf, ice skating, inline skating or even a wave simulator. The ships all have age-specific "clubs", so your grandson could hang out with kids his own age. We took our kids on a Royal Caribbean cruise when they were teens and they had a blast. It's also been a popular choice for our family members and friends with teens.
You definitely need to go onto the www.cruisecritic.com website.
It is a wealth of cruising information and forum.
Did you mean for your title to sound like a personals ad?
Where are you planning to go? We took our young teens on a Holland Americ Alaska cruise. They loved it. Lots of kids their age, and lots of activities too keep them amused.
I rather misinterrupted the title of this thread too, lol.
No advice shadowgirl from me shadowgirl but you have received some good information. Have fun with your grandson, I always loved my trips with my grandsons.
Disney cruises are good for teens as well.
Thank you all for your advice. Regarding the "personal ad",(crack me up)The reason was most grandparents don't seem to be as young as we are or even as much fun. I didn't want a boring trip response.
Thanks again everyone.
