cross country-just get me there.....

Jump to last reply

I'm leaving next week for LA from South Fla, driving in a small compact with a dog and some belongings........... sounds like fun, huh? My plan so far is to drive hard the first 2 days, some 650 miles to Biloxi day one, 550 miles day 2 to Dallas, then an easy day - 360 miles to Amarillo. From Amarillo, hard again - 600 miles to Flagstaff, and then the last day 475 to LA.

I know this sounds hard - but is it doable? I figure with day 3 being "easy", that's a rest/recover and get ready for the last part of the trip.

Any thoughts?
