Cowboy boots near St. Louis airport

Hey there,

We are headed to St. Louis this weekend for my BIL's wedding!

The attire is somewhat casual, and my husband (who is in the wedding) just found out that most of the groomsmen will be wearing dress cowboy boots.

We live in CT and I have had no luck finding somewhere that sells cowboy boots, especially nice ones. So, we are thinking that we'll stop at a store in St. Louis near the airport (i'm assuming that there MUST be more cowboy boot stores in Mo than in CT.)

So does anyone know the closest boot store to the airport -- one that would have a lot of selection? Thanks!

This isn't what you are looking for but I would just stick with his normal dress shoes. No one will care as long as they are appropriate for his attire. You are going to pay quite a bit of money for something he probably won't ever wear again. AND, boots have to be broken in. His feet are going to kill him with all the standing during the wedding. Just my two cents. I live in the south and people mix dress boots and dress shoes all the time.

He would actually wear them again.... and what really matters is that he wants them!

You could try Chucks Boots Superstore, the largest boots store in the midwest, in Fenton MO. I don't know anything about them personally, though.

Chucks boots is a great store - it is about 25 min form the airport.
There really is nothing closer in St Louis.

as capxx said it is large and it is in Fenton which is basically a suburb of STL.

I would have to agree with the idea that it would be totally nuts to wear brand new boots to a stand all day event.

But if he really wants then, Chucks boots are your best bet. http://www.stlouisbootstores.com/

Probably 25 min or so from the airport.

Chuck's boots was a HUGE store - and wasn't too far from the airport.
The husband got a new pair of Ariats and wore them for a wonderful wedding.
Thanks all!
