I am looking for weekly rentals for several families at Delaware Beach locations. We do NOT want a large beach house, but rather several (5 or 6) separate condos as close to each other as possible.
Is this type of rental common in these areas? I'm not finding anything on vrbo. We usually stay in Ocean City, MD, where you can find quite a few low-rise apartment buildings that fit our needs, but we would rather move a little north of OC. I read somewhere about "Colony Pines" (I think that's the name), but it seemed so big. Walking to the beach is key.
Any ideas/suggestions?
Thank you.

I suggest that you check with the resident real estate agent at (1) One Virginia Avenue in Rehoboth (a beachfront high-rise condo) and (2) Sea Colony in Bethany Beach (also a beachfront high rise). Check their respective Web sites for contact information, prices, etc.
Thanks, Beaucoup. Sea Colony is the one I was trying to remember the name. The people in our group aren't crazy about high-rise buildings, so we weren't interested in the Sea Colony. We'll take a look, if possible, at the One Virginia Avenue building as we're in OC right now. Thank you for the information.
If anyone has stayed at any low-rise buildings in any of these beach towns, I would appreciate hearing from you.
Thanks.
Sheila
I find VRBO to be pretty limited for the Md and DE beaches.

This vacation rental company has units in Fenwick and Bethany. We have had good experiences with their rentals in OC. Just checking that you know that Dewey is a bit of a party scene for the 20 somethings from DC? Bethany has more of a family vibe.
Hi BlueSwimmer,
Thank you for the link. Yes, we do know that Dewey can be crazy on the weekends, but thanks for the heads-up!
