Probably pretty messy. It's not a regular commute, but we take 78 in that area with a fair amount of frequency, and will avoid it at rush when we can, especially right around 202 and Bridgewater Commons. The Lehigh end is a bit less sticky, but we have become spectacularly stuck in local Allentown traffic at evening commuter hour.
I live in that area and the commute will not be an easy one. Traffice in the morning and evening sorry to say!
There are a few people in my company that commute from PA to Central Jersey.
Traffic can be bad. Both in volume and sun glare! Really 78 is the east/west link for that area.
But it is not as bad as going all the way to NYC!......and I know a few who do!
