We are thinking of planning our honeymoon driving around the west. This is the loop we were thinking as we really want to see Wyoming and Montana. But need suggestions on if you can do this in one week and where to stay... the best places to see... etc. Oh, the drive will be late June, early July.
Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Nevada... driving loop... suggestions

I understand your wanting to see it all, but the distances you are dealing with are huge and I think you would have a better time to pick one area and explore it. Colorado itself has more than enough to keep you busy for more than a week. Think about what you would enjoy doing. Do you like to just drive and look at beautiful scenery, enjoy hiking, museums, exploring ancient native American sites, geologic wonders, etc.???? then focus on where you would best be able to do those things that make you happy.
Agree with EMALLOY. You couldn't do this in a week unless you drove the interstates at full speed and didn't stop to enjoy the scenery.
You could spend a week alone in northwest Montana or northwest Wyoming!!
Pick a spot and slow down and enjoy.
Congratulations on your upcoming nupitals.
It's your honeymoon. Aren't there other activites you will want to be doing besides driving in a car on your honeymoon? I'd pick one scenic location, and perhaps take some day drives. Congratulations!
Stick to either Wyoming or Montana. If you want to stay in Yellowstone, you'd better get reservations ASAP.
You don't have enought time for Colorado and Nevada. You have enough time for two stays in one state. I vote Wyoming for Yellowstone/Gand Teton.
I'll second the vote for Yellowstone/Grand Tetons. These two parks have enough area to cover in 5 days. You'll be happy you limited the driving. Keep calling to see if you can get cancellations for rooms inside the park, if not then stay at West Yellowstone, Montana.

BTW, if you don't mind camping, then you can easily get reservations now.
