Colorado College
My daughter just found out she was accepted to Colorado college. She was invited to visit in april. We thought about doing a family trip since it is also our spring break. Is there skiing available that time of year around there? Where would be a good area to stay? We will be coinc from Ohio.

thereyet - just how hungover are you?!?
r'smom, colo clg is an excellent school. good friend of mine went and loved it. he is an orthopedic surgeon now and lives near durango.
the closest ski area to colo spgs is monarch. a basin will definitely be open. here's a list of most of last years closing dates: http://www.coloradoski.com/Events/ResortClosingDates/
this year breckenridge closes 4/19 keystone 4/12 vail 4/19.
spring skiing can be lots of fun. not so much powder, but some days you can ski in a t-shirt. a basin will have the best snow as it is at the highest elevation. keystone is the closest lodging to the basin and a fun town.
