We will be staying at hilton hawaiian but I heard that they do not have coin operated laundry service. Do anyone know if which laundromat is the closest? Thank you!

The Outrigger Reef, about a 10-minute walk toward Diamond Head from the Hilton, has coin-operated laundry facilities.

Outrigger Reef would allow non-guests to use the coin-op laundry? It's a public place?

I know at the other Outrigger hotel the laundry machines are outdoors near the pool, not on a guest floor, and I'm sure the employees don't care since the machines aren't free.

Now I'm curious... because I can't imagine they'd want or wouldn't notice people trouping in and out with their dirty laundry. I usually stay near Outrigger Reef, that's why I was wondering for myself.

I found a long list of automats by going to www.yp.yahoo.com tying in "laundry" and "waikiki, hi."

That's what I do before every trip.
