Closures in NM due to wildfires

Valles Caldera has just been closed due to wild fire at Thompson Ridge; as is Fenton Lake.

====

Each fire [there are 2] has burned just over 9,000 acres and one is 15% contained at Tres Lagunas [north of Pecos] and the Thompson Ridge is only 5%.

It's always so sad to hear about devastation from fire and the great difficulties and dangers in trying to control them. Wish I could send some rain your way!
