My husband and I will be staying at the Cliffside Inn in Newport RI at the end of July. Is it worth the crazy summer prices? If you've been there let me know what to expect. Also, we're looking for some interesting places to eat dinner..any suggestions?

We've stayed at one of their sister B&Bs, the Adele Turner Inn, and it was very nice. I saw pictures of the Cliffside Inn, and it also looked lovely. They are both part of a conglomerate called the Legendary Inns of Newport, or something like that. Yes, they're expensive, but so is much of Newport, and summer is high season.
