Clear Sailing or Should I say flying...

Just wanted to send you a short note to share with you details of my flight from Dallas to Honolulu.

Arrived at the airport 2 hour in advance, checked in, went through security and made the flight - really no drama.

Really only difference was security, you will need your boarding pass and ID to pass through. I was scanned by a wand and when the buzzer beeped I was then "patted down".
My carry on was checked. Overall I felt very good about the added security and did not feel put upon or ill at ease.

We were 1/2 late in taking off, which is understandable due to added security.

In closing just wanted to share with you what it's like to fly these days and let you know the flying is just fine and Hawaii is as always paradise.
