Cinque Terre or Naples in Jan

We have to make a choice between Cinque Terre and Naples(Pompeii, Amalfi, Capri). Weather wise Naples will be warmer but what would you suggest for travel in early January or which one would you rate better as a place to visit. Will one be able to hike in CT in Jan.
