Christsmas in the deep south
Hi guys,
me and the wife are doing a two week road trip in the deep south starting in New Orleans the wknd of the 14th december, after there we are planning to hit... Biloxi, Mobile, Atlanta, Nashville, Memphis. Then maybe some of Texas before Vegas for new year's, can anyone recommend a good place for christmas, quaint sleepy town type stuff?
cheers

You could check out Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia. Don't know if they would be all booked up by now.
Small town, but the gardens have a huge light display, so not sure if that is what you want or not.
Or do you mean a small town in Texas?

I would stick a little west of Atlanta. The area around San Antonio, Austin and Fredricksburg could be interesting at Christmas time.
Seems like it would be easier to start northerly like Memphis and Nashville and head south to NOLA, Texas and Las Vegas.
