My husband and I are visiting Naples over Christmas and are looking for a restaurant to eat in on Christmas Day....without much success! The suggestions made previously on this forum ask for me to look at naplesnews.com and I have done however I can't seem to find the specific places opening on this day....maybe its me just not looking in the right place!
2 places I've found so far are Stoney's Steakhouse and Bayside Seafood grill, both of which look great, however I'm wondering if someone local can give me a few alternatives if you've seen any adverts in your local newspaper? I've called a couple of recommended places - Trulucks, Bistro 821 - but they're not open.
Any help would be very much appreciated!

In past years I have found that most everything is closed up tight Christmas Day. Check the Ritz, La Playa, etc (hotels) to see when they are serving. That or eat in, of course.

You're welcome... I will be solo in Naples again this Christmas. I have enjoyed the Ritz on the Gulf for Christmas dinner. Having shrimp on the beach, Christmas Day, at The Ritz Carlton is WONDERFUL!!!
