Christmans Day Dinner - San Francisco

Going to be flying into San Fran for a few days over Christmas for some R&R.

Any recommendations for dinner or lunch or brunch that is notable.

Thanks

On Christmas day we usually go for dim sum, preferably at Ton Kiang (23rd ? Ave. and Geary Blvd.)

Hello mark99, are you interested in a traditional Christmas dinner or do you not celebrate Christmas and consequently want ethnic restuarants or nontradtional meals during the time you will be in SF?

The Garden Court of the Sheraton Palace Hotel. (historic) Very Christmasy atmosphere and good food.

Traditional dinner is not a requirement.

Have done Dim Sum at christmas myself...but I'm looking for something more San Fran Christmas traditional...something that is "colorful" special to that time of year than the restaurant would not otherwise do, you know....interesting.

Don't really care what the food is.

Definitely consider the brunch at the Sheraton Palace, Great spread and beautiful surroundings but don't wait until the last minute to make a reservation or you may very well not get in.

3rd vote for the GArden Court..great Sunday Brunch any time of the year..xmas very, very nice.

Also have high tea at Sir Francis Drake Hotel..see all the wonderful xmas decorations, famous visitor exhibits of the past...

Wow...seems like a concesus....I will look into booking that. Also...I love the Drake, so I think I'll take in the tea!

And you can guarantee I will do the Dim Sum thing too in one of those days!
