Chicago to Kaua`i on sale!

This just showed up in my emailbox:

Apple Vacations is offering a special "Have it All in Hawaii Sale." Book by August 4 for travel up to mid-December.

For $1199/person, enjoy 5 night accommodations at ResortQuest Kauai Beach, roundtrip air on United from Chicago's O'Hare, a free Hertz car rental with unlimited mileage, a free night and a $50 food and beverage credit.

Set on 11 acres of Waipouli Beach, the new resort is located adjacent to the open-air Coconut Plantation Marketplace and within walking distance to two other shopping villages. The resort's central location is ideal for exploring everything that Kauai has to offer, form the Na Pali Cliffs to the Waimea Canyon.

Kauai is considered by many to be the most beautiful of the Hawaiian Islands because of its lush, tropical rain forest, desolate moonscapes and more than 40 spectacular beaches. From kayaking, snorkeling, and exploring the beaches to relaxing at the resort's ocean view pool and Pua Day Spa, this is one exotic vacation the girls will love.

For more information, visit www.applevacations.com. To book, call Royal Travel and Tours at 1-800-747-7695.

ResortQuest is a low end chain. See pleasantholidays.com for more choices and comparable offers.

Thanks for info auntie. One person's low end is another person's high end. It is good information to have for those of us that cannot afford the $800 a night at the Kahala or $1500 a night a Wailea Beach Villas.

This particular property here on Kaua`i, is definitely not "low end".

Resort Quest Makaiwa has been renovated and upgraded by two separate owners within last 3-4 years...from top to bottom, from inside to out:
