Since we've already sent and are sending a couple of shows to Broadway and London, I turn-about is fair play. Not to say we won't keep on a-giving!
"Billy Elliott" will be coming to Chicago this coming spring for an open run at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts/Oriental Theatre in the Loop.
In addition to other offerings, the pre-Broadway run of "The Addams Family" starring Nathan Lane and Bebe Neuwith will be at the same Oriental Theatre, Nov. 13-Jan. 10. It goes to Broadway, opening April 8, 2010 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (previews start in March).
And, at the Chicago Theatre Nov. 19-Jan. 3, Cirque du Soleil will be doing presenting a little different. "Vaudeville", which probably will be a cross between traditional theatre and their usual hijinks.
P.S. Glad to see that Chicago's Finest are portrayed in "A Steady Rain" by the casting of Daniel Craig and Hugh Jackman. Spot-on appearance-wise!

You are right about "A Steady Rain". It is one of the best plays I have ever seen and very emotional!
