Hello,
I was wondering if anyone had advice concerning overnight parking near the Drake Hotel. I would rather not pay $50.00 per night valet parking. Does anybody have any experience with the garages near the hotel? I can't seem to find an overnight price for the garages either.
Any help you could provide would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Jeff

The garage located at 260 E. Chestnut just east and south of the Drake Hotel has convenient 24 hour parking for just $28. Its entrance is on the north side of chestnut just west of Inner Lakeshore Drive.
Hope this helps.
You can also use www.chicagoparkingmap.com or http://chicago.bestparking.com to find other options nearby. Just enter the address.
Hi jhschlak,
You may want to look at this website http://chicago.bestparking.com/ to find parking around the Drake. There's lots of lots right by the Drake and the John Hancock building. YOu can do better than $50/night, but you may have to pay $28-30 still.
If you're staying a several days, and this is still too expensive, you can always consider dropping off your bags at the hotel, and finding free street parking along Stockton Drive in Lincoln Park - then taking bus (151 Sheridan) or taxi ($5-6) back to hotel.
Good luck! I'd hate to pay this much for parking myself...
Thanks for the replies! I had originally checked out chicagoparkingmap.com, but it doesn't provide any details (cost, hours)on the website. I think I will check out the 260 E. Chestnut location. Thanks for the help.
Jeff
