Any advice on the cheapest way to get from Isles of Capri, Naples to RSW and vice-versa? Have seen $48 one way. is that the best price? Thanks.

I take you won't have a car? Actually the price sounds pretty good. I once did some calls looking for a shuttle or taxi from central Naples to RSW and couldn't get below about $60 for the two of us. Because we were going to be gone so long didn't want to leave a car. We actually rented a car for one day -- $34.00 I think. Picked it up in Naples the day before and dropped off at RSW. That's how we also now get from Naples to Ft. Lauderdale when we fly out of there -- rent a one way car for the day -- no drop off charges.
We thought of renting a car for 24 hrs. too and are still thinking about it. We have our own car in Naples but we leave for long periods of time to go home so can't leave it at the airport. Saw ads in local paper for $48 from Marco and less from Naples but we are almost in Marco so I bet they will charge us that rate. Thanks for the response.
For one or per person? When I called those ads I was told it was per person. Have you checked with them yet? It sounds pretty cheap to me.
Haven't called but one ad says per group. We'll see. If we're here for a long period of time, renting a car for 24 hours makes sense. Sometimes, we'll come just for a week and spending all that time driving back and forth twice from Isles of Capri may not be worth the hassle. Our grown kids will come too for a week or less at a time and are on a small budget so was looking to help them out too. Don't need the service for a couple of weeks yet so will let you know how it all shakes out. We'll be going back to skiing in VT for the winter. I guess we do it backwards! At our age, we'll do it until we get too decrepit!
