Cheapest, best to get from San Fran Airport to Hotel in Fina. District?
Just looking at my options, what's the best cheapest way to get to from SFO to my hotel which is in the financial district ? FYI its just me and the wife and we will be getting in at around 10 AM, no rush either since check in is at 3.

I would take BART--fast and inexpensive ($8.65 per person to Montgomery or Embarcadero--where you get off depends on where your hotel is). It will take you about 30 minutes from the airport to downtown.

Depending on what terminal your flight arrives at, you may need to take the (free) Air Train that loops around the airport to get to the BART station. It's clearly marked.

BART would be great to get into SF if you are not going to straight to your hotel and have plans before going to hotel. I believe you are staying at the Hilton "Financial District" , which is actually closer to Chinatown and not that close to either the Montgomery or Embarcadero BART stations -- 8 to 9 block walk from either station.
