cheapest airport for Burlington, VT

Is Manchester, NH the cheapest "close" airport for Burlington? Or are some NY state airports closer? I don't think anyone flies "cheaply" from BWI/DC into Burlington itself. How far is the drive from Manchester to Burlington? Thanks for help.

we flew jetblue cheaply right into burlington. i don't know if jetblue services the DC area, but we took them from JFK for a very affordable price (about $60 one way).

On Southwest you can fly relatively cheaply from BWI to Albany (NY) Fares vary from 69-99 rt. From Albany, it's probably 2 1/2 - 3 hours to Burlington.

Don't forget Montreal. Sometimes you can get a good deal there, and it is no further away than Manchester. I agree with marisab though, that JetBlue is a great choice to get to Burlington airport.

Manchester NH is about a 21/2 to 3 hour drive from Burlington. The airport is probably the closest and "cheapest"! Montreal is about a 2 hour drive from Burlington but you have to factor in the time crossing the border.

JetBlue does service both DC and Burlington. They have good rates, comfortable seats and little individual tvs to help pass the time. It's my favorite airline. Check them out!

JetBlue does fly out of both Washington and Burlington, but not from one to the other, unfortunately. It looks like the only places they fly to out of Washington are Long Beach, Oakland, and Ft. Lauderdale. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!

I doubt it's "cheap", but it's worth looking into-Lebanon NH has puddle-jumper flights out of Logan (Boston) that are affiliated with one of the major airlines.....About a 1.5 hour drive...
