Hi all
found a great last minute service to hawaii airtech, they charge $215 one way incl tax from LA or SF to hawaii, there is a catch, you cant book either way till 7days or less before travel so some flexibility is required. web www.airtech.com

Trip Ideas
I just bought a round-trip on Hawaiian Air Seattle/Honolulu for $301. No special requirements, just the price on their website for midweek travel.
ALOHA !
Great deal, suze! When ya going?
Next month (November) for 10 days
Wow! That's great deal.
Gen you dont get such deals in this season...
However, i have always availed cheap rates through one such site like: www.flightnetwork.com
thanks,
C Wattson
Wow, flightnetwork does NOT look very cheap to me. I can get a much better deal by working with hawaiian and/or united directly. With today's lack of competition going to the islands the travel aggregators rarely have the low price.
Sorry but "Cheapflights" 1st post look suspiciously like advertising, which is not allowed on this forum.
Sorry but airtech would not work for me, since I stay timeshare and cannot be flexible on my dates. Good idea for others though.
I just bought 2 refundable round trip tickets from NY (ROC) to Maui (OGG) for 1,800 with insurance through American Airlines. I have looked at a lot of sites but most tickets are non-refundable like priceline.com. But whether you live on the WEST or EAST coast you should sign up for the newsletter at www.airfarewatchdog.com they send you listings of the cheapest flights for where ever you choose. you just tell them where you are and where you want to go and choose whether you want them to email you 1,2, or 3 times a day so you get the cheapest tickets possible. also Wednesday and Saturday mornings for some reason all ways have the best rates something about a glitch in the airlines computer systems.
Good luck to every one and aloha
Planning early has usually worked best for me. I found tickets from LAX to OGG 11/19 for 7 days. $323.05 total. I did buy them back in June. (AA)
USAir nonstop from CLT to HNL finally under $600 in January !
It is not advertising it is a great deal and there is no better deal to book a one way without advance purchase than airtech.com i checked around and found all airlines charged double that for the same time period, booked within 7 days of travel...i was trying to provide a good legitimate tip and in fact i found them recommended on the frommers site
Gosh, so you went from a great deal to a great deal booking one way with no advanced purchase (during months with no full moon or from cities where it doesn't rain). OK jokes aside, I did a comparsion of Hawaiian's rate and airwhatever. Doing a straight comparison for a one way ticket, your site was $75 cheaper than Hawaiian. But WAIT, did I read the fine print right - the travel date is listed as "a four-day travel window"? Geez, that's more than just flexible that's crazy. Who could plan their trip this way, a college kid who will backpack around the island.
I still don't buy this site.
I would also say this is advertising as the original poster writes in the same manner as the author of the website. Which is to say- not very well and with a TON of run-on sentences. He also happens to be 'in David' which is one of their locations. Would not recommend.
