Cheap Eats on Oahu and Maui

Jump to last reply

Mr. Pickle and I will spend two nights on Oahu in March 2014, followed by four nights on Maui for my brother-in-law's wedding. Yes, it would be great to have more time there, but we are traveling to Wales in May and had to take time away from that trip for Hawaii travel.

We're flying to Honolulu so we can visit Pearl Harbor, and we plan to drive around the island so I can see some LOST filming sites. When we get to Maui, we're renting a condo in Wailea with some of Mr. Pickle's family, so I'm sure we will at least have breakfast there.

I'm looking for inexpensive places for lunch and dinner on both islands. Lunch could be around $10 for an entree, and dinner could be more - maybe $20 or so for an entree.

We're open to any cuisine, and we definitely want to try plate lunches, shave ice, etc.

I'm looking forward to your suggestions!

Lee Ann
