Although I was finally able to book a room at the Inn at Darden, I had difficulty finding hotel availability. I didn't see anything on the Charlottesville events calendar--is something going on that I didn't find?

I believe it is parents weekend at UVA. Between home football games and this, it is almost impossible to get a decent room in Cville in the Fall unless you book very early.

I couldn't find anything on either the Charlottesville or University Calendars of Events. The Inn at Darden looks quite nice, and it was within my budget, so it's all good.
