Had a great trip. Older son was in wrestling camp at the Citadel. Wife and younger son and myself enjoyed the Aquarium. 10 year old and mom went to the Hunley and enjoyed the tour. We liked Fort Sumter and Patriots Point. We had a phenominal lunch at a restaurant called Sullivans on Sullivans Island. Great prices and family owned for over 26 years. My youngest enjoyed the Arthur Ravenell Bridge over the Cooper River. Of course we all liked the Waterfront and the huge Charleston style Mansions. We also recommend a great Irish Restaurant called Molley Darcey's which not only had excellent food but great Irish Entertainment. Then when I took off for Charlotte to check out our newly cleared lake lot, the rest of the family went to Beaufort and took a River Boat ride on the Beaufort Bay. My little one loved Port Royal and the Hunting Island State Park Beach which I am upset I did not get to see because the rest of the family said it was beautiful as well as fun. They loved the scenery on the way to the beach. Then I drove down from Charlotte, picked up a model Kasey Kahne Car(famous race car driver) for my youngest at the Hendricks Motor Sports Building in Concord as well as seeing the Charlotte International Speedway and met up with the family in Beaufort. They showed me the downtown shopping area as well as the nice waterfront area. Of course it does not compare to Charleston, but nice for a small city.
Then we drove back to Sarasota FL yesterday.
