Charleston, SC Golf and restaurants

Has anyone played Dunes West Golf Course in Mt. Pleasant, SC? I am not a golfer and just booked tee time for my husband.
We have dinner reservations at the following restaurants: Peninsula Grill, Blossom Cafe, Hanks. Any input/opinion will be appreciated.
Late May vacation.
