Charleston, SC 5 days

Hi, we are going to be staying in Johns Island for 5 days next week, highs in mid-50s. If you were to pick 5 top things to do, what would they be? Not taking bicycles, due to weather. Haven't been there in 37 years. Enjoy culture, architecture, walking.

Go into Charleston and walk around.
Eat at either FIG, Ordinary, High Cotton, SNOB or Husk.
Go to Folly Beach.
Go to Angel Oak.
Eat at Fat Hen on John's Island.

Go to the Plantations.
Go back to Charleston. LOL
Wouldn't bicycling in that temp be pretty comfortable? Better than 80's!! LOL

Thanks! Made reservations at Husk and brunch at Fat Hen so far. Is there a specific walking tour and/or company you would recommend? There are so many...

Another excellent tour guide is Carol of BroadstreetBiz Tours. We've taken several of her walking tours. Wide range of coverage - I highly recommend her. One of her latest which is getting regional acclaim covers the Grimke Sisters, of Charleston's past.

A few other very good restaurants on Johns Island, near to the Fat Hen, are Wild Olive and Sweeneys. They're all located on Maybank Highway. Maria's, a casual Mexican food restaurant is in the shopping center at the corner of Maybank and River Road. Excellent food there too.
