I am planning a romantic getaway to Charleston in the fall. Can we expect to see any fall folliage? Or is charleston too far south? Our dates are flexible, if there is folliage I would like to plan the trip around it. Also looking for a romantic place to stay, an inn, B&B, someplace small and quiet. Although we are not on a tight budget I would prefer not to spend a fortune.
Thanks in advance

Amy,
We have visited Charleston in May (cannot address fall foiliage).
If you are seeking a romantic inn, you may want to consider "Governer's House Inn". We stayed at this inn and would most definitely return. The folks who manage the Inn may be a good resource to answer your foilage questions.
