Car Rentals on the Big Island
Is it my imagination or have car rentals increased by 20% or more. I know there was a tax increase but even so, it appears there are few deals on costco, priceline and hotwire. Maybe the deals will come as we move out of primetime.

If you're going somewhere at the same time that everyone else wants to go, then flights are going to be high, car rentals are going to be high, hotels are going to be pricey. That's just plain Travel-101.

Tracy while your's is a basic statement of economics, I've been going to the big island for the last ten years in april and may and what I am seeing is a higher than average costs even at this early date. I see little if any deals from the big consolidators. So I checking on others for their recent experiences. Thanks for your observations.
