Heading solo to Cape Cod next week. I will be staying in Hyannis, but willing to drive for good seafood. I would prefer less crowded places where the locals go, rather than the tourists. Nothing fancy. Hole in the walls are fine. Any suggestions?

Trip Ideas
I can't give you particular advice about Cape Cod but as far as tourist destinations go, most restaurants cannot survive on "locals only" business. They need the tourists to pay the bills.
Tourists and locals alike go to the good restaurants.
My favorite in Hyannis is Cooke's Seafood. But it is "eat in the rough," and the specialty is fried food. Two other places that have service are Baxters and Tugboats. Everyone debates the virtues of both, and they sort of face each other on opposite sides of the harbor. A more hip atmosphere, but great food, albeit pricier, is the Naked Oyster out by the Mall road. A bit out of Hyannis, the Dolphin is known for great fish and seafood.
