Cape Cod Bike & Paddle Boat Rental
Can anyone reccomend a great place to rent bikes or paddle boats? We will need an attachment for our daughter and would like to bike scenic and flat areas. Also looking for paddle boat rentals, also of scenic areas. Thanks in advance!

I like to rent bikes while on vacation... never had a problem with any of them, I just rent from whoever I see. I never thought to find a "reputable" company!
We rented bikes on Martha's Vineyard, not entirely flat, but we both did fine and it definitiely was scenic.
We also rented kayaks from a place west of Flamouth. Bikes rentals aren't too hard to find all over the cape.

There is a place on Route 28 in West Dennis just east of Route 134 that rents paddle boats on the Swan River. It's plenty scenic and the boats have battery helper motors on them so you don't have to work too hard if you don't want to. They also have kayaks etc.
This place was there last year so I'm assuming it still is for this season.
The paddle boats would hold three people also.
Good places to bike are the Cape Cod Rail Trail (Dennis to Wellfleet) and the Shining Sea Trail in Falmouth. Also the trail on the Cape side of the CC Canal is interesting.
Rental places are all over the place and the bikes they have are good enough on these trails as they are mostly flat. Many have the small trailers for kids.

We have rented quite a few times at Capistrano Bike Rental near the Salt Pond NPS Center in Eastham. You can ride out to Coast Beach from there (FABULOUS ride with only one big hill at the end). YOu can also get on the rail trail from there and go either north to Wellfleet or wouth to Orleans and beyond.
There's also a bike rental spot in our town, Brewster, on Underpass Rd. They seem to do a good business and the rail trail goes through Brewster and is quite flat.
Have fun!
