Canyonlands and National Park Road Trip - Itinerary Advice

Jump to last reply

I’m planning a trip from 24 September and was hoping for some feedback regarding my itinerary. Although my suggested itinerary is for 14 days I’m able to add on another 3 days along the way if need be. I’m not used to long distance driving and would prefer not to be on the road any more than 3-4 hours a day so is this itinerary even suitable? And finally what kind of weather can I expect end of September into October?

1 night – Las Vegas
2 nights - Zion Nat Park
2 nights - Bryce
3 nights - Moab/Arches/Canyonlands
1 night - Ouray
1 night - Durango for Silverton railway
1 night - Cortez/Mesa Verdi
2 night – Grand Canyon via Monument Valley
1 night – Las Vegas before flying home.

Much thanks in advance for any help or advice.
