Canyon de Chelly

Jump to last reply

Hi all! We are going to Arizona soon to visit family. We fly into Phoenix, then plan on spending a few days in Tucson. We then head to Flagstaff, son has to work for a few days and we are on our own. I would like to go to Canyon de Chelly from Flagstaff and stay there a couple nights (camping at spider rock campground). We've been to GC, Sedona, Page, Petrified Forest, MV, Horseshoe Bend and even Canyon de Chelly. Our family thinks we are nuts for wanting to drive to Canyon de Chelly from Flagstaff, but it doesn't seem that far to me. (3 hours?) What might be a better option?
