Can I see most of the coast of Conn in day or two in October

I agree that it depends on what you're looking for. Mystic is at least half a day for most people. You're also pretty close to the Rhode Island shore from there.
Groton has the Nautilus submarine. You can take a boat ride of the Thimble Islands from the coast off of Stony Point. The Yale Musuems in New Haven are great. Stop at some lobster or clam shacks. Some lighthouse viewing possibilities. Beach walking (even in October). Bruce Museum in Greenwich. Town green in Guilford
Those are just a few things right along the coast.
Based on your interests, how many days does that sound like to you?
