Can airline xray effect teeth xrays?

This may seem like a stupid question but here it is: I will be traveling by plane on Sunday and carrying teeth xrays to show to another dentist. I'm carrying them on board. Will they be effected when I put them through the xray machine at the airport?

No your teeth x-rays are already developed. That stops the photographic process. They are no longer vulnerable to light or x-rays.

It would be like taking a developed photo through the x-ray machine.

Thanks! I'm going for a second opinion and didn't want to arrive with ruined xrays!

Second opinion or not don['t be surprised if the person being asked for a second opinion insists on taking their own films.

Teacher: Do you mean "affected"?

My teachers [nearly] always told me that there were no stupid questions.
