Camping in tents at Fort Wilderness

Are there any sites at Fort Wilderness that are better or worse than others. We have never stayed camping in tents before only in hotels at Disney. We are from Canada and are throwing our tents and equipment into a hockey bag. We have 5 children and two adults so we would like to be near the washrooms and close to the pool. I have seen pictures with some sites near water (lake) are these good?

thank you!!!!!

Don't even THINK about trying to camp in Orlando until after November. It is too hot and you would all be miserable.

And don't forget, camping by a lake brings about tons of mesquitos.
