California/Las Vegas in 10 days

I'm going on vacation with two boys 11 & 14 to San Diego, LA and Vegas. We're leaving on Thursday and I'm just looking for some must see and resturant recommendations. Any little bit of help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

PS. We're staying at the Sheraton Marina on Harbor Island Drive in San Diego, Universal Sheraton and Planet Hollywood formerly the Aladin in Vegas.

Hi Kat..
For San Diego, I would do the USS Midway which is on the bayfront downtown and I am sure your boys will love it..
Brigantine in Point Loma/Shelter Island has the best seafood happy hour everyday and it has the best fish tacos for $2..
George's at the Cove and eat on the terrace in La Jolla is really good.
Cabrillo National Monument and the SD Zoo is great..take a harbor cruise and play at the beach, either Coronado or La Jolla Shores..
Have fun in SD!

not to worry - everyone has a bit of a learning curve

But if but "they asked where I was staying ", the best thing to do is to answer on the same thread.

Your welcome!
When you are in Vegas, I would take the boys downtown at night and see the Fremont Experience..
For a huge cheap breakfast at Binion's Casino downtown, they have a $4.99 huge ham steak and eggs with hash browns/toast..perfect for hungry teenagers..
I really don't like Circus Circus but maybe for the kids for fun things to do, they would probably enjoy it..
Also, NY NY roller coaster..
