we already know Big Sur and Randy's Castle how about other suggestions for photo oops and short hikes and of course shopping and Wine for the girls. does Pismo still have good clams? Local favs among dining not outragous price but good representation of local cuisine.

Pismo- Cracked Crab, Splash Cafe
Shell Beach- Ventana Grill, McClintocks
Go to the Dunes area of Pismo and go on a hummer tour or atv tour of the dunes. So fun! There is a hike from Port San Luis to the Lighthouse.

Montana de Oro near Morrow Bay has hiking and views. The walk along the Creek in downtown SLO is very nice and there is shopping, restaurants.
Winetasting- Paso Robles, See Canyon, Edna Valley, Arroyo Grande
In Avila you san go for a soak in the mineral hot springs at Sycamore Hot Springs.

Second the Cracked Crab restaurant in Pismo. The Buona Tavola in SLO had an excellent lunchAlso, check Morro Bay and Morro Rock, the historic Missions in SLO ad San Miguel for photo ops. No end of wine tasting opportunities from Santa Barbara all the way north to Cambria.
