California-best things to do?

Jump to last reply

Hello, I am doing a project for school and pleasure about a trip to California. I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions about hotels and places to go and eat.

Hello! I don't know where in California you will go but anyway, I will recommend some things in different places.
In LA: stay at a hotel in Santa Mónica, because you will be close to the beach and the area is very nice. I have stayed in two differnet hotels, one more expensive than the other. The first one is the Holiday Inn Bayview Plaza on Pico Blvd. (it´s great). The second one is the Best Western Gateway on Santa Mónica Blvd. It's very new, modern and cheaper. In Santa Mónica, go to the 3rd. St. Promenade! In Malibu, you should go to eat at "Gladstone´s 4 Fish". Oh, my God! It's great!
You should drive to West Hollywood and you will find hot spots on Sunset Blvd. and also on Melrose Ave. Of course, you have to explore Beverly Hills, specially Rodeo Drive.
And also, don´t miss to go to the historic area in LA, where you can eat at Mexican restaurants, and so on. I have much more information but I think I don't have so much place here to write. So, if you want, send an e-mail and I would tell you several other things about LA, San Diego, San Francisco, the coast from LA to San Diego, Yosemite Park and the amazing coast from San Francisco to LA, including Solvang and Santa Barbara.
    I love California!! Bye, bye
