cabs at Lincoln Financial Field

I am thinking of going to the Kenny Chesney concert on 6/25. I will be by myself. I DO NOT want to drive to the stadium. I plan on staying overnight after the concert.

I know that the subway is the easiest/cheapest way to travel. However, I'm worried about leaving by myself after the concert. I know there will be tons of folks getting on the subway. I"m more concerned with leaving the subway and walking back to my hotel. Even the closest ones to a stop are going to have some walking.

I was thinking about just trying to get a cab after the show. Any thoughts? Are they plentiful? Is Uber or Lyft an option?

I am pretty familiar with the city (I live in NJ), but I've never gone to a concert by myself or in Philly.

Thanks!

I've never taken a can from LF but I have from Phillies games and at least once I've been turned away from taking a cab because our destination was "too close". The cabbies expect to make money after a game or concert so if your hotel is close to the stadium you might not be able to get a cabbie to agree to take you. You could also probably just say you'll pay extra. That said, if your hotel is further away you should have no problem.

What about walking to the Holiday Inn, just north of the stadium, and calling a cab or Uber from there?

I've never taken a cab from the stadium, but just IME, it doesn't seem practical.

Thanks for the replies. I thought about staying at the Holiday Inn, but I have a ton of Marriott points so I was planning to stay Center City at one of those properties (and with rooms at the HI approaching $350 for the night it's significant). Walking over to the HI is a good idea. Thanks again.
