Hello. I have found the historic Glacier cabins near St. Mary's. Does anyone know of any other similar accommodations on the East side of Glacier? We are looking for a property with at least four separate cabins. Plenty of options on the West side, but I am not finding much to the East.
Thank you.

If you don't find cabins and you don't mind sharing a vacation home or two, you could look at VRBO. We stayed in a nice 3-BR home near East Glacier Park in 2009 and I see there are a number of rental choices in that area. It was a short drive to the Two Medicine area and, as I recall, around a 40 minute drive to Many Glacier.
Thank you for the suggestion, Longhorn.
Brownie's Hostel in East Glacier has 16 beds and is only open from June 1 to October 15. When they are open they do pick up guests arriving on the Empire Builder east and west bound.
A kitchen is available if you don't want to go out to a restaurant.
Would a big 4br house with 2 duplex cabins work?
No, starrs, since this is "couple" time as well as a hiking trip, everyone wants their privacy. I have looked at the cabins in East Glacier and the vrbo (one of the problems there is even if I found four which fit our needs I would still have to get them relatively close together). We are hikers and the best hiking is in East Glacier. I have found several suitable places on the West side.
Tom, thank you for the suggestion.
Okay. Let me know if you change your mind or want to look at pictures.
