Cab from Newark to West Windsor NJ.

I am travelling to New Jersey, for a short family visit in September. Could you please enlighten me on the following:
a. What are the Cab charges from Newark Int'l Airport to West Windsor, NJ.
b. Any recommendation for reputable transport / cab companies, for such a service.
c. Does these companies have an outlet at the Newark a/port.
Thanks!

At Newark airport, similar to every other airport I've ever been at there is a single taxi queue - you simply hop in the next available taxi.

I have no idea of the cost, but I'd expect it to be greater than $100 given the distance. If you are cost senstive consider taking the train from Newark airport to Princeton.

As suggested by J62 your best option is to take the train to Princeton Junction and then get a cab. West Windsor is right there. Check for schedule here:

Thanks for your help.
I will take the train for going to NY from NJ. Would rather drop into a taxi, after a flight of 15+ hrs.

Have you thought of using Uber? I don't know if they are allowed to pick up at the airport. If they don't, you could go to a hotel that is close by and get picked up there by Uber.

I'm guessing the taxi fare will be about $150 give or take. But you may want to call a car service to see if you can get a better rate that way. At least you'll know in advance how much you'll pay, but such services have to be reserved.

That's good advice. There are many, many car services in that area; just google and you'll find a long list. Often they will give quotes in response to an email, if the rates aren't posted on their website. I wish I could recommend one for West Windsor, but it's a little south of where I usually go in NJ. However, for what it's worth, my experience in the past few years was that car services were slightly less expensive (not dramatically so) and usually cleaner and more comfortable than just jumping in a taxi at the airport.

Thanks, Ladies & Gentlemen!
I have sent a mail to the EWR Taxi Service, to get a Quote.
Will post once I get an update.

The EWR has responded. The cost of the trip is 140.55 (all inclusive) for a sedan.
They want my credit card details to hold bookings on confirmed bases. Should I go ahead and pass on the details. I could pay up on arrival. What is your opinion?
Thanks!

Does the cost include tolls and tip (20%)? Some quotes may just include tolls.

If you wait to pay on the spot what are the chances they won't have a car for you (we always pay at the end of the trip).

The cost includes everything, including gratuities.
I am bit reluctant to part with credit card details by email. It is a different matter if it were an online secure transaction.

Why not just call and give it to them on the phone?
