Read the reviews on yelp and TripAdvisor, mixed to bad.

Most seem nicer than the Northwood.
You might also look at Occidental,6 miles away, and a world unto itself. AAA magazine article on Occidental.

Among all the touristy restaurants is a truely excellent restaurant. Bistro Des Copains. It is one of the highest ranked restaurants in all of the greater Bay Area by Zagat.

Yes, I checked TA - 9 reviews, average 4 out of 5. Doesn't look bad.
Yelp has opposite reviews. I wonder why is such a difference.
I still don't understand the bad reviews on Yelp. Had they expected a Ritz Carlton?
Great place for relaxation, all 3 couples loved it and didn't find anything negative except our trip seemed too short
I will post a report in a separate thread, just want to say this motel is really good, and I'm glad we didn't listen to the naysayers!
