CA- Route 1 Closure

Does anyone know when the below road closure on Route 1 will be opened again.

[IN THE CENTRAL CALIFORNIA AREA]
IS CLOSED 3.2 MI SOUTH OF GORDA (MONTEREY CO) - DUE TO A LAND SLIDE
- MOTORISTS ARE ADVISED TO USE AN ALTERNATE ROUTE

Me and my girlfriend are going in 2 weeks from Carmel to Cambria, and we need to know whether we need to change our plans. If we have to take 101 as an alternative route, we probably will cancel our hotel in Cambria and do something else.

Also, does this road closure effect Big Sur. We could always drive to Big Sur and then back to Carmel
