Sounded nice a month ago -- take a bus ride up to Mohegan Sun for a day of gambling, eating and looking around. Now there's a big nor'easter headed this way and my tickets are non-refundable.
Do I take the ultimate gamble and get on the bus, or eat the money?

A Visit to Charleston

If you let them cancel, I think they will give you your money back.
It would be fun to get snowed in at a casino!
Good luck!!
Depending on where you are coming from...we just ate two bus rides to NYC for Saturday morning.. Refuse to be on a bus in NYC AND know the storm is going to be heaviest as we head home to MA
It's a one day trip from NYC that I booked about a month and a half ago.
Not worried about getting snowed in, I'm worried about the bus ending up in the ditch.
It isn't worthwhile...you might end up sleeping at Mohegan and that might cost you alot of $$ EAT THE MONEY!!!! We did...
Better to eat the money than to have to resort to each other! Well, I guess the storm won't be THAT bad <g>
Hey, you've still got two (1.5) days, things change a lot in that time. Maybe the bus co. will cancel instead.
The worst of the weather will be over on Saturday and I don't think it will be too bad. Plan on going and if worst comes to worst, you are out a few dollars.
In the past we have listened to the weatherman and planned accordingly, or cancelled accordingly, to wake to a sunny day.
I agree, keep your plans, wait and see, perhaps it will all blow right over and you will go win some money
It's over. They've canceled and I'll receive a refund.
It's like I won 70 bucks and didn't even leave the house.
